Mike Goldberg: “Those rumors out there are not true.”

The second the UFC announced that Jon Anik was commentating with Joe Rogan at UFC 155 instead of Mike Goldberg, rumors began swirling as to what motivated the change. One of the heavily reported story was that Goldberg was battling issues surrounding addiction to Adderall, and since UFC officials still won’t comment as to why the switch was made, many sites ran with that version of the story.

While Goldberg still isn’t saying anything specific, he has released a comment to clarify that drugs have nothing to do with his absence from the booth…

Goldberg told MMAFighting,

“I’m doing well. Those rumors out there are not true. I’m dealing with a complicated health issue but feeling better and hoping to be back to 100 percent by Jan. 26 (UFC on FOX 6 in Chicago). See you soon.”
