New preview surfaces for Strikeforce: Rockhold vs. Jardine

When Luke Rockhold stepped into the cage against Ronaldo Souza last September there were few outside of the American Kickboxing Academy fighter’s camp who believed he had what it took to dethrone the polished Strikeforce middleweight champ. However, by the bout’s conclusion Rockhold impressed all by outmaneuvering Souza throughout, using his speed and athleticism to outpoint the crafty Brazilian and take home the organization’s belt.
The 9-0 Rockhold’s next mountain to climb comes this weekend when he takes on Keith Jardine, a seasoned UFC veteran with wins over former light heavyweight champions Chuck Liddell and Forrest Griffin. Other fighters scheduled for action on the card include Robbie Lawler, Tyron Woodley, and Muhammed Lawal.
Strikeforce: Rockhold vs. Jardine will be broadcast on Showtime and, according to this newly released preview, has a headliner with a story to tell as intriguing as any drama on the cable network.
