Glover Teixeira Aiming to Knock “Rampage” Jackson Out

The UFC’s return to network television this month for UFC on FOX 6 boasts a number of intriguing bouts including one featuring what is likely a former champion’s final appearance inside the Octagon. Though 205-pound star Quinton Jackson is not retiring, “Rampage” has been very public with his interest in leaving the company and is free to do so after his upcoming bout.

Opponent Glover Teixeira will be among the large contingent of MMA enthusiasts sad to see Jackson go. Of course, that won’t keep the 19-2 Teixeira from attempting to send “Rampage” out of the organization on a low note.

“Quinton is a great a fighter. I loved to watch him fight back in the day. I still like to watch him fight. He’s a funny guy. I’m just going to go over there and take care of business.”

“I’m going to go over there and put on a great fight for the fans and try to knock him out.”
