Former WEC bantamweight champion Miguel Torres (36-2) and Joseph Benavidez (7-1) will matchup in a contender battle at WEC 47 in Columbus March 6, according to MMA Junkie.
The division title will be on the line in the main event between champion Brian Bowles (8-0) and challenger Dominick Cruz (14-1).
After a championship run that seemed unstoppable, Torres was KO’d in the first round by Bowles at WEC 42 in Las Vegas August 9.
Benavidez lost a unanimous decision to top contender Cruz that same night.
The Torres-Benavidez matchup is likely to determine the next title contender in the WEC.
